A Guide to the WonderEye Lift Facial

As we age, the muscles around our eyes (“periorbital muscles”) tend to lax, which gives rise to conditions like puffiness around the eyes, brow ptosis, nasolabial folds, baggy eyes, dark circles, crow’s feet, appearance of under-eye hollows and sagging.

The WonderEye Lift is the first non-invasive facial treatment that specifically corrects these conditions by toning the periorbital muscles with synchronized Neuromuscular Stimulation (NMS) and Radiofrequency (RF). The combination of these technologies stimulate natural rejuvenation by improving the overall firmness and contour of the eyes, and increasing levels of collagen and elastin fibres in the inner skin layers.

The WonderEye Lift Facial at Aurra is enhanced with a second step of using the Bi-One, an Italian technology that uses electromagnetic fields (EMF) to enhance your skin’s natural healing process. This gentle, non-invasive therapy targets cellular renewal, collagen production and tissue remodelling, making it an effective solution for dark circles.

How does the WonderEye Lift Facial work?

The WonderEye Lift Facial at Aurra is an hour-long treatment that comprises of two parts – (1) using WonderFace technology and is immediately followed by (2) Bi-One stimulation.

In the first part, zygomatic plugs, which are connectors specially designed with gel electrodes, are attached on the eye muscles to deliver both NMS and RF to the periorbital areas in intervals for a full 25 minutes. Our therapist will moderate the intensity of these stimulations based on your feedback and comfort level.

For the eyes muscles, the NMS leading to contractions help strengthen the connective tissues that support the skin, muscles, and fat. It encircles the eyes and controls eyelid movement, whilst the stimulation tightens the under-eye region, reduces fine lines, and prevents hooding of the upper eyelids. RF improves blood circulation, promoting a healthier and more vibrant appearance. The combination of synchronized RF and NMS works simultaneously but targets different layers, ensures comprehensive rejuvenation, addressing both skin and muscle layers.

In the second part, our therapist will use the Bi-One handpiece to gently run through your under-eye areas and deliver electromagnetic waves that boost cellular renewal and skin regeneration over a duration of 20 minutes.

Most clients have reported the treatment to be comfortable, with almost no pain felt. You may feel slight warmth and a pulsing sensation but not necessarily enough to cause discomfort.

The treatment is non-invasive so side effects are on the minimal side. Nonetheless, you may expect your muscles to ache from the contractions and redness in your skin due to enhanced blood circulation.

For the best results, we recommend undergoing the treatment at least once per week for about 2 months for lasting improvements in your eye muscle tone.

The WonderEye Lift can be combined with other injectable treatments, fillers and surface laser procedures such as Pico Laser, Derma Fillers, Botox and so on. Worry not as our therapists will devise the best plan to your skin goals.

The WonderEye Lift Facial is generally safe for breastfeeding mothers. However, if you are pregnant, we recommend that you defer your treatment until after delivery.
